What the café knows
A guest visit stores a display name, a time zone, a short role line and the intent you picked. Nothing else is required, and a guest visit ends when you close the tab.
Keeping your seat adds an email address, so the café can find your table again on another day or another device. Your access credential is never written to browser storage.
Who’s here shows only people whose own privacy setting publishes their activity to the café. The default is private, so you are not listed unless you chose to be.
Blocking is mutual and immediate: a blocked person disappears from your view of the café and you from theirs.
